BC Superweek consist of several independent events that happen annually around the second week of July in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.

The Tour de Delta begins the series by hosting a three day timed stage race that consists of a very fast Criterium on a Friday evening, another Criterum Saturday evening around an old fishing village and a point to point Road Race on the Sunday morning.

Following Delta is the UBC Grand Prix, held around a very technical course on the Tuesday evening.

Then on Wednesday is the exciting Global Relay Gastown Grand Prix, one of the most challenging and exhilarating cycling events.

On Thursday evening, the City of Burnaby hosts the Giro di Burnaby, a 1.85km Criterium course centered in the historical Heights neighbourhood.

Then the week comes to a conclusion with the Tour de White Rock, a three day point’s series race that begins with a challenging Hill Climb on a Friday evening, a fast Criterium Saturday evening and one of the more challenging Road Race courses in North America on the last Sunday morning of this week long affair.

With over 5,000 spectators in attendance at each event and over $65,000 in cash prizes for the cyclists who participate to win, this is the cycling event to be at each year.

Professional Teams from all over North America are in attendance. The accolade of some past attending riders include, but not limited to the likes of; Tyler Farrar, Chris Horner, Lance Armstrong, Svein Tuft, Brian Walton, Christian Meier and Dominic Rowan on the men’s side and Olympic riders Alison Sydor, Leslie Tomlinson and Erin Willock that have attended the Pro women’s events.
